Hazel Wood High School approached Trigger to design a GCSE Options Booklet for their Year 9 students — a key piece of communication that would clearly explain the options process, outline available subjects, and guide students through submitting their choices. As part of the Oak Learning Partnership Trust, the school wanted a professional, engaging design that reflected their brand and values.
We worked closely with the school to structure the content in a clear, student-friendly format. Our design balanced approachability with professionalism, using consistent branding, colour coding and iconography to make the process intuitive and easy to navigate. Key information was highlighted to support both students and parents in making informed decisions. Once approved, the booklet was printed and delivered to the school, ready to be distributed in time for the options process.

The finished booklet was well-received by staff, students and parents – praised for its clarity, engaging layout and professional quality. It not only informed but also helped streamline the options process. We’re proud to support Hazel Wood High School and the wider trust with creative communications that make an impact.
