Moorhouse Academy, part of the Watergrove Trust, wanted to create inspiring wall graphics that celebrated the school’s ethos and values while providing a long-lasting solution for displays that were being regularly recreated by staff. The school’s LEARN values are at the heart of everything they do, encouraging pupils to learn together, encourage others, achieve potential, respect for all and never give up. These values along with the school’s encouraged behaviours are embedded throughout daily school life, so it was important that they were displayed in a way that reflected their significance and created a positive learning environment.
Working closely with Moorhouse Academy we designed and installed two bespoke wall graphics, tailored specifically for the different learning environments within the school. The Key Stage 1 hall features a vibrant display introducing the academy’s LEARN values in an engaging and age-appropriate way, helping younger pupils become familiar with the behaviours and attitudes that underpin school life. Within the larger Key Stage 2 hall, we expanded the design to include not only the LEARN values but also the school’s encouraged behaviours linked to each principle. This creates a daily visual reminder for pupils, supporting positive behaviour, personal development and the school’s wider curriculum.
Manufactured using high-quality, durable materials, the new wall graphics provide a professional, long-term alternative to the paper displays previously used, dramatically reducing ongoing maintenance while ensuring the displays remain vibrant and impactful for years to come.
The finished installations have transformed both school halls into welcoming, inspiring spaces that celebrate Moorhouse Academy’s identity and reinforce its values every day. By replacing temporary paper displays with professionally designed wall graphics, the school has significantly reduced the time and cost associated with recreating and repairing the displays, allowing staff to focus on supporting pupils rather than maintaining classroom environments.
